How We Can Help

Therapeutic Approach and Values
My approach as a therapist is respectful, curious, culturally responsive and inclusive. I bring empathy, humour, stability and open communication to each therapeutic relationship, so that my clients can feel safe and comfortable in taking this journey with me.
I use a person-centered approach in my work, and believe in providing clients with support and positive regard to help facilitate change.
The therapeutic frameworks and approaches I use include:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Schema Therapy
Mindfulness Based Interventions
Motivational Interviewing

Issues we can help with
I have a special interest in working with anxiety, LGBTQIA+ and gender diversity, CALD issues, and women’s mental health issues.
I also enjoy working with clients presenting with:
Panic/stress
Workplace Issues
Life changes/ Adjustment
Relationship issues
Phase of life issues
Grief and loss
Imposter syndrome
Achievement and perfection
Study stress
Body image and self esteem

Telehealth
In addition to traditional face-to-face therapy, I also offer video or phone sessions. This is a great way to continue accessing therapy if you are unable to attend in person, have to isolate, or if it is just easier to do so from the comfort of your home. Telehealth sessions can be equally as effective and helpful as face-to-face sessions.
Telehealth sessions can also be rebated by Medicare.
